Chef Randy Fitchhorn comes to us with over 35 years of experience in the industry, with time spent in luxury hotels (specifically Marriott portfolios), restaurants, gourmet grocery stores and private events. Even after 35 years, Randy tells us “I still love what I do every single day. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else and since I’ve been doing it so long, I guess I chose my path correctly!”

Chef Randy has a degree from Johnson and Wales in Culinary Arts, which he has put to good use all over the US including Florida, Texas, Rhode Island, California, and Alabama. He has an eye for putting together beautifully crafted and paired meals you wouldn’t normally think to pair together. His Grab N Go meals have become a hit here at A Cut Above and regularly gets repeat guests with requests for prepared foods. He enjoys a challenge and his number one priority is to please our guests so if a guest requests something we don’t carry, he loves to make it special to order.
